Overview

First and foremost, we are engineers with a background in a broad range of commodities. The Zenito team have worked together in engineering consulting roles for many years prior to Zenito's formation. We are well used to working in cooperation with Client's teams and other mining consultancy companies during the delivery of projects, both as a specific process plant consultant and as lead consultant with the responsibility for overall project management.

Process Engineering

Zenito's work is driven by skills in Process Engineering and Metallurgy. This link between metallurgical test work and process design is key in the development of a sustainable and efficient plant design. The team have extensive knowledge in comminution, beneficiation, and hydrometallurgy across the phases of design, operation, and commissioning of a wide range of process plants, and are able to draw upon this knowledge in day-to-day work.

Scoping Studies

Scoping studies and preliminary economic assessments are some of the very first stages of project development, and as such form a foundation for the scope and direction of further work. Engineering performed at this level is required to support a cost accuracy of -50 +100% (AACE Class 5).

Zenito's engineering team are well versed in the analysis of options at scoping study level across a range of commodities, and frequently undertake trade-off studies as new information and testing results become available when executing projects.

Pre-Feasibility Studies

As projects become further defined, Pre-Feasibility Studies and Option studies take the concepts developed during scoping level work, and develop them to support more accurate cost estimates. Cost accuracy is typically -30 +50% (AACE Class 4) at this stage, and involves further engineering effort to refine the previous studies.

Feasibility Studies

Feasibility studies of all types are one of the core competencies of the Zenito team, having completed countless studies during their careers in the mining industry.

Engineering work is always required to support the development of capital and operating cost estimates, and Zenito engineers are intimately familiar with the detail requirements to support cost estimates to and accuracy of -15 +20% (AACE Class 3). Additionally, Zenito have experience in the production of NI43-101 compliant reports, with many of our engineers classing as qualified persons.
